Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under applicable law to place an order or create an account.
If you are under 18, you may only use the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who will be considered the customer.
-
Account Registration and Security
Some features require you to create an account.
You agree to:
-
provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information;
-
keep your login details confidential; and
-
inform us immediately at info@veggizoo.eu if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
-
Products, Orders and Subscriptions
You can purchase:
-
one-time products (e.g. individual toys); and
-
subscription boxes (e.g. monthly Veggizoo Garden Box).
Placing an order is an offer to buy a product. We may accept or refuse any order at our discretion (for example if a product is unavailable or if there is an error in the price).
Subscription Renewals
Unless otherwise stated on the product page:
-
subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each subscription period (e.g. monthly);
-
your payment method will be charged for each renewal at the then-current price;
-
you can cancel future renewals at any time through your account or by contacting us;
-
if you cancel during an ongoing pre-paid period, the cancellation will apply to the next period and you will continue to receive the remaining boxes already paid.
Full details of returns and cancellations are set out in our Refund Policy.
-
Prices, Taxes and Payment
All prices are shown in the currency indicated on the website and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
We may change prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders already accepted.
Payment must be made at the time of order using one of the payment methods offered at checkout (for example Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or other providers shown on the Platform).
We use third-party payment processors and do not store full credit card details. All payments are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
You are responsible for all charges associated with your order, including any applicable taxes and delivery fees.
-
Shipping, Delivery and Risk of Loss
We ship to the destinations indicated on the website. Shipping options, estimated delivery times and costs are shown at checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the products are delivered to the delivery address provided.
If you believe your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 30 days of the shipping date.
-
Returns, Refunds and Cooling-off Period
Your rights regarding returns, refunds and exchanges are described in our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
If you are an EU consumer, you generally have a legal right to withdraw from most online purchases within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions explained in our Refund Policy.
-
User Content
Some parts of the Platform may allow you to upload or submit content, such as product reviews, photos or comments (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you:
-
remain the owner of your content; but
-
grant Veggizoo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, modify, display and share that content in connection with our Services (for example on our website, social media or marketing materials).
You confirm that:
-
you have the necessary rights to share the User Content;
-
your content does not infringe any third-party rights (such as copyright or privacy); and
-
your content is not illegal, defamatory, hateful, obscene or otherwise inappropriate.
We may remove or edit User Content at any time if we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or applicable law.
-
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Platform:
-
for any unlawful purpose;
-
to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame or intimidate others;
-
to upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code;
-
to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts;
-
to send unsolicited advertising or spam; or
-
in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.
-
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all text, images, graphics, logos, icons, videos and other content on the Platform (“Veggizoo Content”) are owned by or licensed to Veggizoo and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
You may:
-
view and print pages of the website for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not:
-
copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, licence or exploit any Veggizoo Content without our prior written consent.
All trademarks, logos and brand names used on the Platform remain the property of their respective owners.
-
Third-Party Services and Links
Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or may integrate third-party services (such as payment providers or social media plugins). We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites or services.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
-
Disclaimer of Warranties
We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but:
-
the Platform and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis;
-
we do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from viruses;
-
product descriptions and images are for information only; the actual products may vary slightly.
You are responsible for assessing whether a product is suitable for your dog, including any allergies or specific needs.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
-
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian and EU law:
-
we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (such as loss of profit, revenue or data) arising from your use of the Platform or products;
-
our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or products is limited to the amount you paid to Veggizoo for the order giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
-
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Veggizoo, its directors, employees and agents harmless from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform or products.
-
Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform or your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have:
-
breached these Terms;
-
engaged in fraud or misuse of the Services; or
-
not paid amounts due.
You may stop using the Services at any time and may cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 4 and our Refund Policy.
Sections which by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitations of liability and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
-
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
If you are an EU consumer, you may also bring claims in the courts of your habitual residence.
We will try to resolve any dispute amicably first. If we cannot reach an agreement, the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Any arbitration clause or class action waiver from earlier versions of our terms does not apply to EU consumers.
-
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our Services or in applicable law.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The new Terms will apply to your use of the Services from the date they are posted.
If you continue to use the Services after the updated Terms are posted, you are deemed to accept the changes.
